#Stardom is an excellent example of this. They just put on an excellent #5StarGP despite losing Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano & Syuri. So many talents have been elevated as of late. It’s exciting to watch that happen in a promotion.
Being without Ospreay & Swerve for a while is not ideal but now is the time to ask the locker room “Who wants it? Who’s gunna step up?” Some of wrestling’s biggest revelations have occurred during a time when a big star is out. Time to elevate some people. #ForbiddenDoor

I really hope that everyone who's made up lies about how "Janel Grant's lawyers said Brock Lesnar did nothing wrong" (or, worse, saying Grant said it herself despite the fact that we've never once heard from her directly) over the last ~24 hours walks dick-first into a wood chipper by week's end.

Rant:
When I started covering wrestling 17 years ago, it was basically just Dave's newsletter and a bunch of small outlets and writers fighting over scraps, but it was fun. Few big outlets touched wrestling. Now this space is filled with sensationalist grifters who are being assholes to SA victims.

being a woman in wrestling spaces is truly exhausting and demoralizing sometimes. seeing people just actively not giving one ounce of a fuck. like yeah go on and pop for the guy in the sex trafficking lawsuit like he’s a guy in a boyband on TRL, how fantastic.

Women have been trying to explain this phenomenon for years. Saying something about sexual harassment or abuse will break your heart when all the closeted misogynists in your life come out in support of a man, any man, and well… I guess that includes Donald Trump now.

And it’s always done by people that don’t understand the term “indie.” like to use it in a derogatory fashion or think their some experts and don’t know anything.
Calling pre-NXT Giulia or Stephanie "indie" tells me how fucking dumb you are.

Everything said here and the previous posts is valid.
Months ago, I wrote an article about how the space for wrestling criticism is shrinking. The polarized fandom of pro wrestling has made genuine (keyword: genuine) critique a rarity, as people seem unable/unwilling to differentiate good criticism from outright hate. 🤼🧵➡️
I also think people overreact to any criticism of something they're enjoying. They want podcasters and reviewers to validate their opinions instead of trying to have an honest conversation.

One day we'll talk about how many of us feel we can't be totally honest about things we don't like anymore 😂
