I visit it every time I’m in NYC too. It tells such a visceral story of the struggles and delights of gay sexuality. It’s really moving.

I have to say, your poem about your mum actually helped hold me together from time to time in these past couple of months whilst I cared for my mom in her home hospice.

I guess I’m just a bit sore because nobody has even seen my post from yesterday in which I excoriate Laurie Burton. I crossposted from the other site via threadreader. Perhaps I should just reconstruct the post here.

I suspect the larger accounts will have no issue getting followers here. It’ll be a lot slower for smaller accounts like mine but I have no issue with that. The content is just so much better here that for me, it’s satisfying with or without lots of followers.
