As a former child junior olympic-level runner, I have a few thoughts on the attacks on trans girls in sports. I ran for one of the most competitive teams in Southern California, and people who ran for my have gone on to become professional athletes. And these bans: they're fucking NONSENSE. 🧵

March is Metal Women's History Month! All month we'll be spotlighting ferocious and talented women artists and performers that help make Metal the force that is today.

Because Hell hath no fury like women in Metal! 🤘

Me out buying groceries. Must eat healthy and I have meal plans in mind.
Me at home later… Why are there no snacks? What do you mean I have to cook? Who wanted salad? 😊

I asked Grok AI some questions and mingled its replies (highlighted by asterisks) into a poem. The questions are down in the thread ⬇️

IMO there's one core thing Trump wants to achieve that isn't mentioned enough (although we all know about it!) during this days of chaos:

he wants to sell his image as "dealmaker", as someone who actually changes things.
It doesn't matter if the changes will be good or bad.
“A controversial campaign pledge to enact big, universal tariffs that would transform the global-trade system and usher in American prosperity has been whittled down to a set of hollow threats designed to extract mostly symbolic concessions from America’s neighbors.”
The Tariffs Were Never Real
Donald Trump does not appear eager to follow through on one of his biggest campaign promises.

"Ja."
"Also, was ist?"

Bought this during a London trip with our English major class, in 2002 I think 🙃 It deeply affected me.
Found it in the seemingly oldest and most cramped second hand book store ever (like ever!) around Camden Lock Market (I believe).

What's your #bookmemories ? Would love to hear about them!

Coffee and filters just ran out simultaneously. But because I restocked both last week, I can now experience the joy of opening a new bag of coffee, to be used with an untouched box of filters. Sometimes the universe is poetic 😋

Story snippet no. 3 (1/2):

"'I don't want to insult nobody!' Otto's confusion was quickly shifting towards snappish anger, 'besides, you two folks do look like drunk buffalos. But not because of the hair."
