Rewatching any of Godard's video work and how do you not go back to, like, YouTube video essayists trying to talk about film and not view them as sub-literate cavemen. Godard made me realize that, yeah, there's not much real good film "content" on YouTube.

Godard c. 1978. Very funny to see his assessment of Eastwood here . . . eventually you get to him happily calling him "Mr. Honkytonk Man" in 1998. I can't yet find any comment from Godard on Eastwood in the interim, but then, perhaps Eastwood's 80s and especially 90s output explains enough...
