We're rolling out the red carpet along Rainier Ave S for the 12,000 daily riders on King County Metro's popular Route 7. This Seattle Transit Measure-funded project connects people to key businesses, parks, schools, amenities, and community hubs throughout South Seattle.

SODO street closure: S Hanford St between E Marginal Way and S Colorado Ave will CLOSE to through-traffic from 6 AM Tuesday, November 11 until 8 PM Thursday, November 13. Business access will be allowed.

This closure is for BNSF to work on required railroad track maintenance.

STUDENT ART ON THE STREET: we worked with Maple Elementary students decorate their School Street with colorful artwork on Corson Ave S.

There are now 20 School Streets across Seattle, helping make walking and biking to school more welcoming for families.

It’s official: the 15th Ave W/NW & Ballard Bridge Paving & Safety Project is now complete. This project was funded by the voter-approved 2015 Levy to Move Seattle and Seattle Transit Measure. Thank you, Seattle!

New traffic signals at NW 51st St and 15th Ave NW in Ballard were activated this morning, creating a new connection across 15th Ave NW for people walking, biking, and rolling to & from Ballard's Brewery District and its historic downtown.

The Big Dark is here, but new lights under the Leary Way Bridge in Ballard shine bright. This work was completed during the recent repaving and bridge strengthening project along 15th Ave W/NW and the Ballard & Leary Way Bridges.

We completed work at E Highland Dr & 10th Ave E to make it easier to cross the street (a busy pedestrian crossing across from Volunteer Park) with a new marked crosswalk, daylighting to increase visibility, speed cushions to slow drivers nearing the crosswalk, and a center median to prevent passing.

200+ bike and scooter corrals will be installed across Seattle to make it clearer and easier to find a place to park shared bikes and scooters.

These, created by local artist Roy (Eroyn) Franklin, were installed in partnership with Seattle Symphony, Benaroya Hall, and the Office of Arts & Culture.
