Did I mention a block of bike lane reopened on Eastlake Ave E, just before the University Bridge? Oh never mind it’s just for drivers who don’t have time to park in the free parking garage offered by this business.

NE 65th St’s bike lane really needs improvements. It connects to the light rail and links both sides of an elementary and high school attendance area divided by I-5, but it’s constantly blocked by drivers.

The best part of commuting from the Eastside is returning to Seattle by crossing the longest floating bridge in the world, with Lake Washington below and the city in the background. (Video speed: 4×, showing only part of the bridge crossing.)
