A freestanding column on a tiny square metal-looking base that is sitting on some brick with like a third of its surface area suspended over a drop deep enough to definitely cause it to tip over and fall if someone fucking leans on it to light up a cig or something and comes in at the right angle of attack.

My favorite Windows trick: if you put a shortcut in the System32 directory (C:\Windows\System32 - hidden by default), you can invoke it from the Run window (windows+r to open that).

This lets you do cool things like have a blank desktop and never touch the start menu.

Problem: plastic hardware on old toilet seat was over-tightened and immediately stripped. Tabbed nuts underneath the bowl positioned perfectly to make it impossible to get purchase with hands or a screwdriver as a lever.

Solution:
A hand saw about 1/3rd of the way through a plastic nut/washer on a toilet seat assembly. Plastic shavings are everywhere.

I am being menaced

I think it’s a movie that is very well executed. The music is splendid, and it was shot in a very interesting way. It was treated very carefully, finished with great precision and accuracy. But I don’t know. I wouldn’t know how to judge that film. “Triumph of the Will” is very controversial, but you can’t deny that as a piece of filmmaking it is a very impressive achievement. You can like something without agreeing with its politics. Yes, probably so. I might’ve liked if the film could have been a little more about her activities and achievements, which are described in the end titles. But, also, our operation was limited to twenty days, and to two or three days after Donald went into the White House. Maybe it would’ve been more interesting if it was really about what she’s done as First Lady.
