I still cannot believe that my little book took Irish Biography of the Year. I cannot reply to all of the messages but please know that I see and appreciate every one of them. Now I just hope that the messages in my book spread far and wide and that they can act as seeds of change. Up nature!

What an incredible evening spent listening to @seanronayne.bsky.social at The Lark in Balbriggan. He spoke so engagingly and movingly about all aspects of bird life & general wildlife in Ireland. Stark+quite depressing statistics were presented alongside ever present hope and optimism. GRMA Seán 🦉

Thank you so much. Last night was wonderful for me. The venue and crowd were amazing
Superb 3hrs that flew by in the blink of an eye with @seanronayne.bsky.social at #thelarkdublin tonight.
An evening of laughter, tears, joy, awe & hope.
Sean's passion is infectious, his delivery charming & his message a stark warning for the challenges ahead for Irelands birds.

I’m back here after an absence. I was trying to cut back on apps. I feel like I’m being shadow-banned on instagram so this seems like a nicer place to revisit

Here’s a video from a mic deployment in Barcelona, in the midst of a wonderful thunderstorm. I got so wet it didn’t matter! It was beautiful

My most enjoyable summer read yet, #natureboy by @seanronayne.bsky.social. It sums up beautifully what's important to remember, cherish & protect in our world & lives. A must for educators, so we can properly situate nature in schools & also become more inclusive! Autism is rarely explained better!

The last government had an open goal to reform forestry to something resembling a sustainable model - but they blew it.

With Coillte abandoning its biodiversity commitments, it seems that the industry now feels the pressure is off.

Opinion: This government is determined to turn its back on sustainable forestry in Ireland
Pádraic Fogarty says that despite the climate crisis, Ireland’s native trees are last in line once again as unsustainable forestry practices continue.

The start of a new chapter! I’ve been meaning to explore underwater sounds for some time. This recorder will remain submerged for 24hrs as a test. Let’s see what swims around it tonight, when the tide rises and the people leave. Just my mic, the sea, and the fish!

Thank you everyone for a great night at Cork Opera House! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d fill 750 seats in my home city one day. What a privilege to do that talking about the thing I love so much. Nature. You all give me so much hope. See you at the next! Lots more venues to go.
