We’ve had laying hens for many years - and only added a bantam cockerel (and a bantam hen) a year ago after asking our neighbours if they would mind - they said they like it - but I think one is enough.

This is the father, he sings a lot, and we live in the centre of our town - so we will have to find homes for any of the 10 chicks that are cockerels - I don’t think our neighbours could stand the noise!

Pick them before the cap opens and before they start to turn into ink. Slice and fry in butter - they are genuinely a delicacy but beware, don’t drink anything alcoholic with your meal or you will have an unpleasant reaction.

Physicist: if the cup was actually full you could still add more water until the meniscus burst, and if was empty you could still extract some water from it by subjecting it to a vacuum.

That €1.50 for an hour also allows you to use as many trams AND buses as you need for your journey - it’s an integrated system - no competing private buses clogging up the streets!
