Patty, a woman observer in Minneapolis, was abducted from a car by federal agents today. She was released and talked about her experience in custody.

actually this was sort of the point of the game Parker Bros. used as a model for Monopoly. Lizzie Magie’s The Landlord’s Game was designed to teach the principles of Georgism. PB ripped her off and she was never fairly compensated for her invention. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monopol...

As Aaron notes in the thread below, ICE's conduct here is outrageous, but Lander is wrong about ICE needing a judicial warrant to arrest someone in a public area—and also wrong about ICE lacking the authority to arrest US citizens. But worthwhile civil disobedience!
Lander is incorrect that a judicial warrant is required (only an administrative warrant), but ICE refuses even to show him that, which is outrageous. If they have a warrant, they should show it. If they don't, they don't have arrest authority. But him holding on to the guy... could be trouble.
