I think I had a good reading year in 2025 but I don’t want to risk offending anyone by sharing some of the titles read. These days, It seems like it’s frowned upon to even choose to read.

We all have to respect how people cope with grief, but then again…..

Not for me. I can escape from all the doom by reading non fiction and I also feel a need to read what really is going on out there, even if it can be tough reading. The Gates of Gaza is a good example.

I read every day, it’s my comfort blanket from all the madness happening around us. I feel desperately sorry for the younger generation who don’t generally have my passion for reading.
Buy a book.

Any book, it doesn't matter which. The one you've been looking forward to, the one with the title that made you laugh, the weighty award-winner you've been meaning to get to. Whatever.

Treat yourself. Step away from it all. In this time of gross ignorance & madness, read something.

What a great opportunity for Channel 5 to make their mark on the sport. It’s garbage, an insult to the intelligence of nfl fans in the UK
Channel 5 coverage of NFL is like having Gary Neville read you a bedtime story. Hideous!

Forgive us Joshua for playing a winning style of football and completely outplaying you. Sorry for not lying down like all your domestic opponents. Good luck in qualifying to the knock out stage..
Joshua Kimmich speaks out after Bayern Munich’s defeat at the Emirates Stadium last night.

Texans defence is going to really mix things up come the play-offs
After a wild Sunday that saw three overtime games and a couple of exciting upsets, we’re left with one truly dominant team and a bunch of questions after that.

The Los Angeles Rams overtake the No. 1 spot, the Philadelphia Eagles drop down and some teams stay put.

He hates being questioned for his past deeds, refuses to be held to account. He’s so entitled and precious. The GE should expose him, if the media does its job.
Have I ever racially abused anyone?
"Never in a hurtful or insulting way"
"Not with intent"
In other words, "yes".

Does make you realise how good the Sky Sports cricket coverage is. TNT were pretty poor, lacking depth, emotion and insight.

Brand new genre for me, reading the biography of Henry V by Dan Jones, it’s a sensational read

I’ve backed the Texans back in Sept, thought their defence would be key. I guess I’ve got no hope…
After a statement win over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos continue to climb 👀
