Red Rising really solidified that opinion for me, in particular Darrow’s voice changes as his arc went on. You can tell he deeply cares about his craft.

I’ve arrived at a stage in my life where I have a favorite audiobook narrator, and Tim Gerard Reynolds is him. Mostly everything he’s read to me has been a breeze.

I’d rather Tulsa win because I watched Alex Dalou play a lot in person when he was at Gold Star… gotta pull for the local NISA All-Star.

Oh shit, I’ve heard this story before but from the other side. It was apparently so obvious that Windsor players figured out it had been fixed too, along with several other matches with different teams that year. I also remember a story of a team tanking the 1st half and slaughtering them in the 2nd

I think that’s the one of the most prominent things that sticks out. Especially tracking runs off the ball. Easy to convince yourself that someone else will shift to pick the player up, and then it’s too late in an instant.

Hopefully pro/rel will sort this type of stunt out in time. I’m so tired of it in American soccer.

Have to go on hiatus? Start again from the bottom and prove yourself again.

Dr. Zack displaying his blatant anti-'ddd' bias once again. More like Dr. Hack.

The more confusing question to me is why everyone seems to think there is one right now?

My only complaint is this would rob us of one of the funniest things in sports, when a professional player gets called for a foul throw.

This year is something totally different and they actually just about "deserve" their spot in the table. It's just hard to fully believe because they've been so good for so long.

Last year, when they finished 6th in the East, was a pretty absurd outlier. By underlying numbers, they should have gone down as one of the best offenses in league history, but they just. could. not. finish.

24 goals under their expected number! 24!

I also think 2024’s team was fine and would have made playoffs but never 3rd place without great goalkeeping performances. They were very average in terms of the run of play.
