My understanding (but i'm very uncertain is correct) is that a lot of South Dakota v Dole was superseded between the various Obamacare suits (specifically the medicaid expansion mandate) and then some of the attempts at Covid mitigation. Or maybe it was something in environmental protections

I probably need to read a little more about it for a refresher but didn’t the feds withhold funds for highway funding if states didn’t change the drinking age? Or is that a myth
