In my world, there's a certain reluctance to being merely, or in a knee-jerk way, a resist lib. That's understandable, even commendable. On the other hand, let's be clear: It's a hell of lot better, morally and intellectually and politically, to be a resist lib than a Vichy conservative.

The pathetic flopsweat performances of Noem and Homan on the Sunday news shows is a good reminder that when you staff an administration with hateful stupid thugs, they'll handle the "fucking around" part well enough but will be utterly useless when the "finding out" begins.

Folks look at you like you're crazy when you say we're in the midst of the worst, most unprecedented Article I constitutional crisis in American history, & then it's Saturday.
Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."

Weird that other Nation’s leaders can be held accountable for their crimes in American Courts but thanks to SCOTUS and John Roberts, America’s Republicans can’t be held accountable for a GD thing including violating the Constitution.

It's a shell game. Trump is taking money from soldiers' housing subsidies to "give" them $1,776 "warrior dividend" checks.

All this will do is increase, dramatically, the suicide rate among trans kids.

Societies should be judged by how well they take care of their most vulnerable members. The United States in 2025 continues to fail this test.

Astonishing.

At one point or another, we're all going to need to see a doctor.

But our health care system remains unaffordable, inaccessible, and deeply dysfunctional. It is unacceptable.

That’s why a strong majority of Americans agree: We need Medicare for All.

This is ridiculous. It was the first TRUMP admin which developed the cases against President Hernandez. His brother Tony Hernandez was indicted in 2018 and convicted in 2019, and key ally Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez was indicted in 2020.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
Leavitt: "The people of Honduras have highlighted to him how the former President Hernandez was set up. This was a clear Biden over prosecution."

Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.
