Just got off the phone with Comcast and what I'm 99% sure was an AI tech support "person." Here's what I can report back:
1) It sucks.
2) They gave it a vague, unplaceable accent for some reason?
3) At the end it hangs up so fast I can only assume they don't want you to waste resources thanking it.

This is a total aside, but it's so uncanny seeing the player intentionally miss every shot in this footage. Which PR doofus at Atari was like "guys, you can't show anyone getting shot in your first-person shooter trailer"?

I just learned that John Carmack misgendered and deadnamed Rebecca Heineman in his "tribute" over on Twitter. He probably thinks it's okay when talking pre-transition days, but FYI, most trans people hate that. Worse, he never calls her "she," switching to "they" for recent memories. Fuck that guy.

Not actually sure these are an improvement, but I threw some switch texture edits together in the hopes it would be more obvious that they're shootable.

This has been fixed in the upcoming version of DMA-BSP64, but one of the quirks of previous versions was totally unpredictable scrolling effects. Normal speed? Yep. Super fast? Sure, why not. Fast and in reverse? Hell yeah.

Kind of incredible how much cleaner this map looks in the editor with a teleport setup rather than enemies spawning directly into the arena.

There's a couple shell pickups in map19 of The UnMaking that fly up into the ceiling and can't be collected once you progress past a certain point. Since I always pick them up, I never noticed this issue before.
Anyway, it helps to have playtesters. But also I'm not fixing this because it's funny.
