Commercial litigator, sometimes constitutional law professor, in Nashville. Number one fan of @emilypassini.bsky.social (💍) and @predsnhl.bsky.social (🏒). RTs = proof of life. Not your lawyer. But seriously, don't get your legal advice from social media.
Don't mind me, just flipping tables over here over this. Content moderation is hard, etc. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Whatever else you think of X, that account was 9+ years old. I had an account with thousands of followers before that, which I nuked in law school when I started applying for internships with federal judges. I have a community on X; it's not, for me, contra @bradengall.bsky.social, a Nazi porn bar.

The original achieved cult classic status by the late 90s. That helped. Daft Punk just made it a little bit cooler.

Very obvious reasons why everything is seen through the lens of electoral strategy these days. The stakes are high, politics is broken, and people have strong opinions about how to fix things. But it sure is exhausting.

We scrapped the bike tour because it'll be November. Should we still go? And Rijksmuseum is definitely a go!

(6) In terms of prices in Nashville and interest rates a year and a half ago, I picked the worst time to buy. I will need a new car probably within a year, and, no thanks to tariffs, who knows how much that'll be.

(7) I can't wait for the Supreme Court to affirm the IEEPA ruling.
