🧵 So I’m nobody, but here’s a thought before I shut down tonight. TACO boy and his henchmen now have the means, methods and resources to purge the country to conform to their twisted ideology. The democratic minority can’t or won’t stop them. 1/

The country that ACTUALLY was responsible for 9/11. The thing that no one is supposedly "Going to forget". The country that brutally murdered a journalist.
Our President, defending him...in OUR White House!
Way to go. 🙄

“Quiet, Piggy” would be fitting for his tombstone.

In light of the recent news that Mexican cattle are being smuggled under? over? THROUGH?!? (big time saver for making cheesesteak, I guess)
And with the onset of cold weather… consider a new costume for laying siege to Nazi detention centers

MBS claims the murder of Khashoggi was "a huge mistake and we're our doing our best that this doesn't happen again."

Whoa: A federal court just barred Texas from using its new congressional map, drawn by the GOP to target Dems.

"Substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 Map."

Court says the old map must be used in 2026. Appeals are certain. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

It has taken a while, but it seems based on last night’s post by Trump that Bondi now has the Epstein files sufficiently scrubbed for release.

The Great Depression was deflationary too, BTW
Fed Governor Stephen Miran: "Cutting down net migration to 0, potentially even negative because of the deportations that have been occurring, I think is very deflationary."

How many innocent Venezuelan civilians is he willing to murder to distract from the Epstein scandal?

Here’s the “silver lining” of the shutdown:

Now we know roughly how long it will take for us to collapse the government.

Now we can start the work of building the safety nets necessary to prevent a humanitarian disaster.

Just read an article on @npr.org by @emilycorwinwrites.bsky.social about SSRI withdrawal. As societal trauma increases our risk for depression, we need to revisit our current treatment strategies.

Borderline insane doesn’t begin to describe tRump. Try “batshit crazy”.
House Oversight Republicans release new trove of Epstein documents. In 2018, Epstein told Larry Summers, then President of Harvard that Trump was borderline insane and Dershowitz was close to that border.

Adelita Grijalva may get sworn in, but watch as a Trump sycophant withdraws a signature to protect Trump from having the horrors of his behavior in the Epstein Files becoming public.

To finagle to protect a serial pedophile, you have to be a truly amoral cretin. That would be you, Nancy Mace.

Right about now, I would prefer that Kamala give some thought to running for California governor instead of trying for the presidency again.

I hope Democratic Party leaders don’t mistakenly think being pulled out of their offices and sent packing for caving to Republicans is off the table.

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

I'm not mad that Senate Democrats offered to end the shutdown. It would have gotten a 1 year extension to the ACA credits and now the Republicans have refused to reopen the government.

It’s gonna be pretty fucking hard to smile at shoppers that don’t exist
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.
