Thank you Michael Fanone. For those who do not recognize the name, Michael is one of the officers who defended America on January 6th and was left permanently injured as a result. He is a true hero of our Democracy.

(1,3) I think about my brother Dr. Michael Guttenberg every day, but today more than most. My brother was a true hero of 9/11. He was inside setting up a triage for patients when the buildings collapsed. He survived and spent weeks at ground zero taking care of people.

Fun fact: White men don't have a monopoly on merit. #DEI

Dr. Fauci was our guest at Wolftrap outside of DC last summer, and before the show I asked him why he thought had become MAGA’s primary villain in the COVID epidemic. After the fact, it was useful to find someone else to blame rather than Trump, but why him? What started it?

Above my desk are two paintings from friends of mine. Joe Meno did the lovely image of the Saturn V on the LUT. My love of the Saturn V is pretty well know. The other is by Kevin Hinkle, who developed my Avatar, with me as a LEGO Minifig.

I am a Steward with SCCA. My last race was at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Here is my 2003 Porsche Carrera 4S parked in front of the aiming bunker for the WWII P47 Thunderbolt machine guns. Made for a nice photo at the end of a great weekend of racing.
