State leaders are trying to push through a major setback in our state’s climate laws, as reps were off work for the federal holiday.

The Joint Committee on TUE will vote on this bill today. Make sure your rep hears from you: protect our climate law! Vote NO on climate backsliding.

a lot of the Democratic Senate caucus's calculus (as well as much of the discourse) seem to be predicated on the assumption that Congress will continue to be the central space for political confrontation and that the traditional electoral timelines will continue to shape our political life

BEACON HILL EFFICIENCY? With just weeks left before they close out formal business for the first half of the two-year term, legislative Democrats have managed to send a brief list of major bills to Gov. Maura Healey's desk. Critics expected more. #mapoli www.wbur.org/news/2025/11...
State legislators pledged efficiency, but critics expected more amid Trump's attacks on Mass.

Massachusetts has an $8 BILLION with a B in its rainy day fund. Gov. Healey could be demanding Democratic legislature backfill at least for Nov. 1st SNAP benefits. She dismissed doing so, saying $248 million is too much. I think we can afford it. IT'S RAINING. #mapoli

We like to talk about voter suppression as something only Republicans do. But putting the state primary on the major move-in day is shameful voter suppression by Democrats here in MA.

The Cambridge Police (still exclusively on X, naturally) are furiously spinning this debacle. After hours of antagonizing community members, they teargassed a low-income apartment building with NO WARNING. An elderly resident & a baby were sent to the hospital, and dozens suffered while CPD watched.

Me at today’s budget hearing: “But beyond that, I want to urge that “the money isn’t there” is a difficult argument to stomach in a state as affluent as Massachusetts. Indeed, our state’s GDP is higher than countries like Sweden or Belgium despite our smaller population.”

that the decision to single out, detain &persecute someone for their political speech was made by those at the highest levels is the purest distillation of fascism. so many dems are silent bc, by framing anti-genocide speech as antisemitic for over a year, they helped create the conditions for this
Trump takes credit for Mahmoud Khalil's arrest by ICE:
