Today's is big clean day for the living room & hall. A few baubles & lights will go up on Sunday. Small celebration this year. The man has been called in by the GP to have his #blood results explained (eye roll). He is going to see his #urologist tomorrow who undoubtedly will also explain.

I am upset.Was going to make a jewel cake to take on Saturday. Just discovered that the company who I had ordered the glace fruits from decided to hold on to the order because 1 item was missing, will not arrive until Thursday. Can't bake Friday we are at hospital, for cancer consult for the man.

Just made the filling for a chicken and vegetable pie, too much for small dish and not quite enough for big dish (no medium sized dish☹️). Between the pastry lid and the filling will be a 2 inch gap which means the pastry will sag. Any ideas any one???
