I'm done with Labour. They are beyond redemption.
I've never felt more ashamed of being a Labour supporter. Not even during Iraq, where at least we had cabinet members resigning in disgust. Now: just jostling for position.

If I wasn't already turning my back on the party I've backed my whole life, I would be now.

The Prime Minister said in September that we are at a fork in the road. These asylum proposals suggest we have taken the wrong turning.

The idea that recognised refugees need to be deported is wrong.

If you really must spend 5 minutes walking through six train carriages, barging your way past people trying to get up and get ready to disembark, making a complete nuisance of yourselves, because it will save you thirty seconds of platform walking, then you should be put to death.

The question is: when is @zackpolanski.bsky.social going to run for a seat in Westminster? A party leader serious about building a credible party of Government or opposition needs its leader making the case in Parliament as well as outside it.

To reiterate, this is about making life immeasurably more miserable and stressful for some of the most vulnerable people, in the almost certainly vain hope of winning over the votes of racists.

Anything more shabby and shameful is difficult to envisage.

I don't understand how Labour thinks it can be a party that the centre and left will continue to support while it apes the worst aspects of Reform and the Conservatives

Think I'll be voting Green for the foreseeable future.

I feel for the struggles of the people in Monmouth today

I lost part of a fence and a drainpipe last night so I really can relate.

Yay. Rain and wind bring down the back fence, take out a drainpipe and that manages to cause a water leak into the kitchen.

Thanks Claudia.

Now I'm glad you're leaving Strictly.

So the overwhelming response is, do nothing and we won't pay you anything.

That works for me.
I'm looking for cash pigs but I'm not very assertive

So tell me what you'd pay to see me do and I'll do it and you can send me money.

No. We got a stay of execution. These fuckers are not done messing with us yet.

Oh this is pissing me off.

One example of supposed left wing bias against Trump in a documentary, Robbie Gibb (a partisan hack) kicks up a stink and heads roll.

Multiple flagrant examples of right wing favouritism, bias and inherent ideological leaning are completely ignored.

Things have gotten so bad that I'm actually shocked this court didn't jump at the chance to punch down on another non-straight-white-male group.

This year though. I'm over it. One kick after another.

Horizon Forbidden West is such a great game that I'm faffing about doing side quests and little diversions to avoid finishing the main story.

Which is my way of saying I'm alive and fine but don't have much to say for myself. 🙂

Finally sucked it up and bought Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PS5. I was pissed they took the PS4 version off PS Plus to force people to buy the new version.

Glad I did. Really enjoying it and Horizon Forbidden West is waiting in the wings when I'm finished.

I did not have Djokovic exploring relocating to Greece because Serbian media is branding him some sort of traitor on my tennis bingo card.

Let's keep it real. Some people are only mad because he chose that guy as the target and not someone they think is more deserving.

it's definitely a new low. Lower than the previous record set...*checks notes* ... last week, which in turn set a new standard over...riffles pages... the week before.
What a truly disgusting week for American journalism.

Worth keeping in mind for all those claiming thus Governor is some better type of Republican.

Absolutely shameful sentiment.
Governor of Utah, "I was praying that it was an immigrant."

The USA is a hellhole, to smear immigrants like this on stage in front of the whole country when they had nothing to do with it.

This is disgusting.

Next they'll be claiming he was radicalised by the Sonic the Hedgehog cheat code.
"Three down arrows" is being widely interpreted as an antifa logo. But the full description of the inscription is "up right down down down," and the other inscription, "Hey fascist, catch!" both come from the game Helldivers 2.

Online culture is such a morass of symbols/meanings. Watch your step.
