This is the final stage of tetanus when the nerves fire continuously and the body contorts into an agonizing posture known as opisthotonus. Additionally, the mastication muscles clamp down to form the hallmark lockjaw.

The best horror book I've read this year. It's a horrifying and a telling view of humanity. The storytelling methodology was incredible- imagine a Burns documentary but in writing, a series of interviews. My husband and I listened to the audiobook version and it's UH-MAZING. #bookrecommendations

History nerds: this is IT. ☆☆☆☆☆
This book was so beautifully pieced together.

Favorite part: the twists at the end. I promise it's riveting to the last page!

This is a story with no major climax, but it is soft, speculative, fantasy, and a timely reminder on where we're going and the choices we have today. #booksky #bookreview #bookrecommendation

I posted about "Orbital" the other day. Tonight, I got to hear Samantha Harvey speak on the book. Of course, the book that is magical has an author *who is also magical*

I'm about 25% in and enjoying it. I'm traveling for work and FLEW through this portion on the flight. Think Scout from "To Kill a Mockingbird" meets "Where the Crawdads sing." looking forward to writing a review on this one!

What are you reading this week?
