Delighted for Tommy today. Sam is a different player this wknd. Albeit against much weaker opposition at the end of this game. Doris and Baird very strong today. Also enjoyed C Prendergast since he’s come on

The rte comms for this game is so negative. Ireland aren’t great today but you would swear we were 3 tries down and down to 13 players.

Allblacks going after our lineout alot which proves successful for opposition teams in general against ireland. JGP on top form. Big Stu really good. First carry from Doris was brilliant. Need to keep intensity high and sort set piece. A win on the table here for sure

BP for cardiff makes this evening’s URC matches interesting. They bump munster to 9th ahead of their game

I will forever be haunted by this footage.

Trawling has only been filmed underwater a few times in documentary history, and never with such clarity.

What’s so heart-rending about these shots is watching how the animals don’t just get swept up — they swim for their lives.

I spent the last week in camps for Sudanese refugees in east Chad. This is the first piece, about international aid cuts & hunger. The kid at the end reminded me of my nephew. More coming next week. The heartbreaking photos are from Chris Maddaloni www.irishtimes.com/world/africa...

Reminder: Kennys Bookshop delivers for free in Ireland. Easons have free delivery over 10 euros (and also sell toys and games and stationary). Lots of lovely booksellers in the actual stores too, like Books Upstairs, Gutter Bookshop, Hodges Figgis.

A reintroduction as more people seem to be here.
We're a small independent coffee company with 5 full time staff. We've brought coffees to Ireland from producers who are genuinely among world's best. The business however was always meant to be about more than just selling coffee for profit.

I've put together the first draft of a rugby analysts starter pack.

Please share it about, and feel free to suggest additions, it's by no means complete and can only get better I'm sure.
