@taenia.bsky.social @turtlesoup.bsky.social Thinking of you! I was at a sheep farm in Nova Scotia last week and there were baby barn swallows. The little heads kept popping up like a demanding cuckoo clock with little cheeps (kept watching the parents come in to feed them but never got a good pic)

Actually sat down to write early tonight. . .and got distracted by lots of things that weren’t writing. (Guess my brain is tired and needed time off). One thing I did was delete my Spotify account. Before I did, I took a screenshot of the playlist for the structured part of our wedding reception:

Spent this weekend mostly with my mom. We went to Fort Knox on the 4th (Civil War fort seemed especially appropriate given…*gestures at everything*) and took some awesome pictures. Then we spent the last two days at our favorite pond. I am slightly sunburned and sore and very happy.

Willow-cat, of all the places in the house to loaf, why would you choose *in the boot tray under my dripping bathing suit???*
(Of course, this is the same cat we have previously found loafed in 1) my frying pan and 2) the garbage — not eating the garbage, just sitting loafed inside the trash can)
