The fact that Purpose, which is about a Black family, and Maybe Happy Ending, which was adapted from a Korean musical and kept the story in Korea, won the top awards shows that we can have non-white stories. I hope this can trickle down to smaller productions. Representation matters. (3/3)

I have no doubt Audra McDonald will receive a 7th+ Tony Award(s) because everything she does is magnificent and top tier. She elevates the art of acting, performance, voice/song. Her physicality in each role is outstanding. It will be exciting to see what role(s) she takes on/created next.
