I'm done thinking that Trump supporters might be ill informed or deluded people. If you support a person who would write something this disturbed, you're a bad person. Period.

A Christianity that causes the hungry to go without food, the sick to go without healthcare, the stranger to be mistreated, and God’s creation to be ravaged, all while the greedy and cruel satisfy their every desire, is a Christianity that can no longer claim to follow Christ.

We all make poor choices in life. But few are as bad as allowing yourself to be lectured about incitment and violent rhetoric by anyone who follows Donald Trump. Seriously. Make good life choices, folks.

Charlie Kirk did not practice politics the right way. He made a career of engaging in the worst degree of bad faith and putting the lives of vulnerable people at greater risk with his shameless propaganda.

His murder is entirely reprehensible, but that doesn't condone his unbridled hatred.

No, Ezra Klein, Charlie Kirk wasn't “practicing politics the right way.” He promoted racism, sexism, homophobia and xenophobia. Kirk had every right to express his political views, and his death is an outrage. But no one who believes in peace and love should praise what he was doing to our politics.

Imagine not wanting the government to infringe on your freedoms as a Christian while simultaneously working to have the government infringe on the freedoms of others in the name of Christianity and refusing to see this as a contradiction.

i said this before and want to state it again: Trump and his administration have done far more damage to our country and our democracy, freedoms, and Constitution than what happened on 9/11.

He’s tanking the economy, destroying our standing in the world, depriving women and LGBTQ communities of their fundamental rights, attacking the environment, disappearing legal immigrants, gutting Veteran’s benefits and Social Security. And he’s making you pay for his golf trips while he’s at it.

The fact that everything around us is burning to the ground & some people still have no clue that they voted for the arsonist or are complicit in the arson is absolutely mind boggling.

Yes, beyond everything that is happening. The attack on the American republic, the coming economic carnage, this is a day of great, great shame that we have targeted and attacked our dearest friends and partners.
