See, I actually do like my healthcare and I use it a lot! I pay a low premium, my pcp and pharmacy are a 5 minute walk from my home, getting labs, visits, and scrip refills is easy, and OOP costs are covered by an fsa they have on file. But then, I’ve basically just described a single-payer system.
Poll people on their satisfaction with their health insurance between four and eight weeks after going into the doctor for anything non-routine, and watch those approval numbers drop faster than Bush after Katrina!

Currently finalizing 1970 in my albums list. Was looking at George Benson’s Other Side of Abbey Road. Probably omitting it from the final list, but it was such a pleasant, funky fun listen. I think particularly in counterpoint of Booker T’s take on Abbey Road from the same year.
