I'd rather the greens but there's too many people still don't see them as a "proper" party so they may not be able to win much with FPTP. Here's hoping for some sanity from the govt between now and the election, but I'm not holding my breath sadly.

I think fewer people are voting Labour than previously as the party has taken the north for granted for decades and doesn't have enough interest in what the northern regions need, or are concerned about. If Labour doesn't get its act together it will lose seats to the right.

A lot of bird flu is spread by wild birds, which can mix with outdoor reared farmed birds. We're far from perfect, for sure, but the UK produces food that is safe to eat, whereas people die every year in the US from eating contaminated salad ...

There's a shortage because once bird flu is found in a flock the whole lot are culled for animal and human safety reasons. Our regulations aren't too bad, actually.
