What's the public cost of the Right to buy, crisis in social housing & out of control private rented sector? A glimpse:

In 2021, 88% of total housing bill was spent on subsidizing housing via benefits - most of which goes to private landlords.

This figure was 5% in 1975

Certainly worth reading. 14-years will take some undoing. Will be interesting to see how the whole “f*ck the Tories” shtick develops should things not get better for people. Will perceptions and understanding of how both major parties operate shift? 🤔
