This thread is exactly why I'm working on a game design degree even though I primarily want to be a narrative designer, which is not really part of the program I'm in.

One of the things that will benefit you when you come and work at Mischief as a narrative designer is having a skill other than just writing.
Like yes, obviously, having professional narrative experience is a massive plus, and as a professional you understand the medium you're writing for.
