And of course I’m thankful for the folks at @ironrootgames.com who welcomed me into the fold even though I’m a little rusty, my schedule is wonky, and, frankly, I’m doing some things for the very first time. But this has given me a sense of purpose that I was sorely missing.

I’m also thankful for the moments I get to be “not just a mom” - the travel, the date nights, the nights with my girlfriends. We have a good support system, and that’s been so helpful in keeping me human.

Which has us thinking… does this ogre need a name?

He’s everyone’s favorite character and we’d seriously die for him. His battle cry of “I will not hurt my friends!” will never be forgotten.

Granted I know everyone doesn’t have a literal timeline of the day so the turkeys go in at the right time and everything fits in the oven when it needs to… but… all I’m saying is I’ve carved around the raw part of a bird before, and I don’t want to do it again. 🤷🏻‍♀️
