Idk why everyone’s talking about auroras right now but I finally saw my first one earlier this year outside the plane window on my way to Iceland!
We had one in Maryland in the spring, and although I was able to get a photo with my camera, it wasn’t something I could see with my eyes.

Fun fact about me, though - one of my eyes is red-blind, and the other is green-blind. I didn't find out until my mid 20s when a doctor gave me the CB test in each eye separate for the first time. 🤣

Ok I’m embarrassed to admit my most used recipe book is called “100 Recipes Every Woman Should Know” and I got it in my early 20s. It’s so traditionally sexist that I thought it was hilarious. Difficulty of recipes is measured in 1-3 high heels. This recipe is a banger.

Continuing work on this… I think I’m getting the colors closer. I’m trying to rely more on knowing the paints that I’m mixing rather than my eyes, and I think that’s helping. Still tricky, though.

Decided to paint someone’s dog as a Christmas gift this year. I don’t know what compelled me to do this but I’m all in. I’ve spent 3 hours so far, and definitely running into colorblind roadblocks, but I think… I like it? It’s definitely “trust the process” but also coming out cute?
