So glad you shared these. I've had a weird year as well - in some ways extremely productive & proud of progress, but in others - well, few acceptances, but at least "some" growth in writing & new poems. It's hard for me to accept slow, & I sometimes don't/can't walk away when I should. So 💪, Mari!

Love this. I had a piece taken after 37 submissions to a journal (over 10 years!) & it was like immediately I became a member of the family. I had paid for a critique of a set of poems & they ended up taking one. At some point they said they'd always been pulling for me or some such. Meant so much!

In a way it does work well to accommodate both or our coffee needs, but I admit to being lazy; pour-over & French roast are definitely better. My cousin made me pour-over coffee a month ago when I was visiting her & does this every day. It was dark, strong and HEAVENLY

We have a rental property & were feeling some pressure to get a Keurig since "everyone else had one" so a couple of years ago we broke down and bought a duo. My husband loved the idea; he drinks decaf (horrors!) & is usually a 1-cuper. This led to us getting a duo at home.

No matter how much you end up drinking, there's something about knowing you can warm or refill your cup whenever you feel like it (or until the pot turns off. ) Plus, tell me I'm wrong, but the whole-pot coffee just TASTES better than the single-cup Keurig. It just DOES
