4 million people work in higher ed, the largest employer in 10 states, second largest employer in 10 more, and in 60 of the 100 biggest cities

ROI for NIH and NSF for local economies is conservatively 4x, often close to 10x

demolishing higher education is economic sabotage
There is a false dichotomy drawn between "the ivory tower" and "the real world," and I'm here to report that in a post-industrial society, your real-world economy absolutely hinges on the university.

University towns are factory towns. Universities drive economic activity, not the other way around.

“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True.”

Revelation 19:11

A white horse significant of comfort and of joy to all that know and love Him.

By this you may know your Lord. He has been a faithful and true Friend.

“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True…He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood.”

Revelation 19:11-13

This is the grandest thought about our Master: He is always a real man wearing the bloody garment.

Romans 1:24-25

The Enemy will encourage godless culture, for while people trust in culture, they will never see their need of the Savior.

The patience of God in giving a chance to repent before judgment finally falls is one of the marvels of the Bible story.

The LORD said to Gideon, “Every one who laps the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set by himself. Likewise, every one who kneels down to drink.”

The great lesson taught here in the two ways of drinking from the stream is that self-restraint.
