@aoc.bsky.social here's a thought-- we can't get student loan forgiveness, but what if we could apply scholarships retroactively to our students loans? There is so much more available and so much more information out there about scholarships now than there ever was before. It feels like a win-win.

One of my high school students is wearing a "Trump Mafia" shirt today. On the back it has repeating text print that says "They not like us" with a silhouette of Trump over it that has a grill and a chain with a cross on it that says "FAFO".

There’s an Urdu name for a “Jack of all trades” that translates to “every talent Lord.” A Korean version is “eight direction beauty.” But my favourite name for someone who tries their hand at lots of different things is the Lithuanian Barbė devyndarbė. It means “Barbie nine jobs”

My DM (and husband) gave our most unhinged player (gnomish wizard) a dimension door gun that anything can be loaded into and will double in size upon being fired. Little did he know my unhinged bard would suggest firing a house into a nautiloid.

I love the Lord of the Rings, but I have to acknowledge that there are some things that a modern audience may find it hard to accept, like the highly problematic age gap romance.

Yesterday I had the privilege of judging some of the #GeorgiaHighSchoolEthicsBowl competition. It is so inspiring to hear those kids create compelling moral arguments at their age. It makes my philosophy heart happy. A friend that graduated the program with me even noticed that it's my happy place.
