I look forward to seeing your plot selection. "Go well" - looks like you and Pete have been spending a lot of time together.

Lets see what you come up with. Independent funds? - anything further you can share there?

Why do you never mention the fine fuels created by the processing of logs Tom? Or the compaction of soils that then lead to increased runoff and limit rain water penetration. I have never seen you examine this in any of your work.

Thanks for the offer to meet - I appreciate you reaching out. At this stage, I don’t see a meeting as the most productive or necessary step, so I’ll respectfully decline for now.

I’ll stay in touch if circumstances change or if there’s a clearer purpose for a conversation.

Pretty clear that the papers conclusion "Thinning is not warranted as a routine fuel management method when previously logged forests transition into conservation tenure." likely indicates a long bow being drawn there Tom.

Ok. No problem. Have a good break and congrats on the new addition.

Thanks. Let me know a time that would work for you. Do you still have my number? If not I can PM it through.

Would you consider meeting for a coffee at some stage to discuss?

...and these are in the form of two papers commissioned by DEECA. As a scientist - would it not be considered remiss to not evaluate the treatment impacts on the ecological values and possible increase of fine fuels? I am also troubled that you say this would have been a huge job. I would argue...

Tom - I thought about your response yesterday to my question regarding fine fuels from processing the windthrow and other negative impacts. I'm troubled by one aspect of your reply. To our knowledge the only work done justifying or responding to the windthrow was produced by you and Flare...

Indeed. There will need to be many ideas thrown at this Tom.

Appalling. The attacks on Parks from the selfish is reprehensible.
