I grew up Catholic. My father was an immigrant, my mother grew up impoverished and in a DV household. They sent me to Catholic school to learn that loving thy neighbor is an act of everyday holiness. I listened, I learned. God does not call us to hate, but to love.

She never said one negative thing about him - just preached typical "love thy neighbor" sentiment one frequently hears in church (I assume/hope), and he's furious, because of course. It is remarkable how thin-skinned he is, and even more remarkable that anyone sees him as a figure of strength lmao
