Dark blue, grey, teal storm clouds over crisped golden pasture grasses and fading green mesquite shrubs. Immediate center of shot is a prism of color beginning with violet at the horizon and graduating up and right through blue, teal, green, yellow, tangerine and red. There is a little oriole on the ground (bottom right edge of left vertical third) but he looked like a speck - perhaps mesmerized by the carnival of colors.

To your left, a not too old pair of binoculars I was using to watch a hawk on my pasture fence. Both are on the hallway counter waiting for me to leave for a Veterans Day Observance event. After which I will need to sign up (for the first time in fifty years) for food assistance at our local Veterans Aid Center in Deming New Mexico.

Listening to the complete series,in order,of these cozies. Nathaniel Parker does a livery job narrating. Characters are fun and the stories are entertaining while I do my autumn baking binge prepping for holidays.
