Gay museum lady that sews things. Part time Victorian woman, functionally indistinguishable from an eBay haunted doll. Living history, fashion history, and a definite lack of impulse control.

Many such cases
My hottest Blue Sky take is Cracker Barrel’s solid for what it is, which is highway off ramp food, and I have some good memories there of meals with family.

I am still haunted by this poem, "The Myth Was Never The Unicorn," written by one of the teens who participated in the creative writing program at the museum this summer. A reminder that girls are always aware.

Read the full piece and listen to the author recite it: journey75.org/2025/the-myt...

From the first stanza of a haiku suite called "Love is Icarus" written in the mahogany suite of the Mark Twain House.

"Buzz of bees in air
Destined for sap of roses
Love in sight yet far"

Absolutely tickled each time I get a voicemail consisting of 2 seconds of silence from a caller identified as Robert Frost. What is he trying to communicate from the great beyond, and why am I the one he’s chosen to reach out to? Why am I never at my desk to answer his call?

Hey, so I just gave a lecture titled “A Healthy Disrespect for the Law” at UBC in Canada, and I’d be happy to do a virtual version for U.S. law schools, which are full of students that probably need to hear it.

This is where the traditional model of democracy and representation breaks down.
*Govt does something alarming
*Constituents respond
*Representatives ignore it because they have gone all in on the same conspiracy theories that the new people running govt are acting on

CT schools prepare guidelines for interactions with immigration officials
Even with the guidelines in place at many schools across the state, immigrant advocates worry that by stoking fear in immigrant communities, children will be kept from going to school.
