A friend who teaches theology shared with me a post about CS Lewis's Mere Christianity, which discusses foundational Christian logic across denominations. It reminded me of Dale's tweet below, and I wanted to share some thoughts here regarding modesty and respectability, which are often hot topics.

Two black cats are sitting on my lap looking at my knitting with laser focus. I am knitting a hat on 4.5mm wooden double pointed needles, the yarn is Bernat 50/50 Germantown worsted in 50% virgin wool, 50% nylon. It is vintage yarn from the 70’s as my best guess.

Sigh, knitting a hat, 32 rows in and realized I was not going to have enough yarn (leftovers from another project). Ripping it out and starting again but smaller size. At least it will be faster to make now. #KnitSky 🧶

How many times does this need to be said, the speed limit is the MAXIMUM speed, not the minimum. Stop honking at me because I choose to drive a little slower in an area with schools, playgrounds, pedestrians, cyclists and deer. Plus there is a stop sign in the next block. Just chillax will ya!

Happiness is working on a scrappy crochet blanket for 2+ years and doing a quick check to confirm I haven’t gained or lost any stitches. Almost finished! #CrochetSky 🧶 #ScrappyBlanket #YarnEnds
Crochet blanket made using the moss stitch and holding 2 strands of 4ply yarn together using a 4.5mm hook. One strand of yarn is 100% pire wool in a dusty rose colour, the other strand is made of all my left over scraps from sock yarn. It makes a wonderfully random collection of colours.
