Yesterday, representatives from the Viking, soccer, pirate, and sandwich communities came together to settle historical grievances via our "Halloween Costume" Slow Roll 2025.

We're calling it the "Treaty of Blondes".

We remain encouraged by the power of cycling to bring people together. 🙂❤️🚲🎃

When Darin Kinniewess's family informed us that a second "spirit bike" had been removed from his memorial site, we decided to try something else.

We hope this small plaque will be a lasting placeholder for the community to honour him and for others to reflect on the ongoing need for safer streets.

Great outing today at the Wanuskewin Heritage Park for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Great paths, beautiful weather, fun people, and a meaningful national project to create understanding and bring people together.

We were honoured to be with Darin Kinniewess' family and friends for the 2nd Annual Bike/Walk to remember him.

It was a good reminder that Darin touched a lot of people, and that our community is incredibly diverse and filled with those who care about others.

The 2nd Annual bike/walk to remember Darin Kinniewess will be held this coming Mon, Sept 8th.

- 2:00 PM: Cyclists meet at Midtown Professional Centre (39 – 23 St East)
- 7.5km bike route to Avenue P and 19th St
- 3:30PM: Walk/Ride to The Bridge on 20th
- Refreshments and sharing

Join us for the “Ride the Bike Infrastructure I” route this coming Saturday, July 26th.

We'll take a leisurely loop of some west side infrastructure, including the Dudley Street bikeway and multi-use path.

We'll meet in the Gather Local Market east courtyard in time for a 2PM departure. 😀
