It's not the biggest deal but as someone who's been around government for a while the idea that OMB would send out an official memorandum with such an obvious typo is hard to wrap my head around. Does the alphabet start with b now? www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/u...

Reddit for government workers is wild right now. Federal workers are oscillating wildly between being beat down and running out of middle fingers to show DOGE. State of California workers are all "I'll strangle Newsom with my own bare hands for making me work in the office every day"

Gavin Newsom has a new podcast, and his first three guests are Charlie Kirk, Michael Savage and Steve Bannon.

I knew Newsom is planning on running for president, what I didn't realize is that he is apparently gonna do it as a republican.

Enjoying watching waste.gov get built in real time by whacking away at someone else's WordPress template. I assume it'll get taken offline any moment, cause I'm pretty sure that "sustainability" is one of the Forbidden Words.

Google’s ai bot helpfully informs us that the 360 video has both “people” *and* “transgender women”. Super glad they do this on every search. Totally worth booting up a couple nuclear reactors to perpetuate some truly repulsive shit.

I thought we'd already passed Peak IPA but apparently not as far as Original Pattern is concerned.

Maybe it's because I haven't lived on the East Coast for decades but it seems unlikely that making a big deal of Dunkin Donuts coffee will ever stop being funny to me

I love that San Francisco will install bike racks on residential streets. We got one in front of our house, then our neighbors did too. Now we have space for a few cargo bikes along with the two dozen car spaces on our block.
