It really is funny how often it happens that trans people became friends growing up long before either knew they were trans. Maybe we are just magnetically drawn to one another subconsciously through our shared joys, hidden wounds, etc.
Also really makes me doubt that we are only 1% of population.

I feel like being in the shower somehow temporarily strips away all my filters and lets me feel the depths of whatever despair or negativity I might be inclined towards at the time, dunno why. Sometimes it's helpful to be able to have that release I guess but jeez.

but the imperfection is also part of the process. We have to love ourselves & one another enough to both receive help, and to accept mistakes.
Trust isn't built from never dropping the ball, a HUGE component of it is also seeing what happens when someone messes up and needs to set things right.

...with the understanding that sometimes you will receive a "no, I can't help". Part of the practice is in getting used to the "no" not being a big deal or a personal slight.
