I think I've become afraid to write. One project didn't work out and it's made me afraid that everything else is going to fail too. I KNOW that's not how it works but it's a tough anxiety to shake. #writing

As a writer, you should never give up. People say "this script won't write itself" but maybe it's just those people haven't left it long enough. Leave it alone. Believe.

Writers: yes, you are still a "real" writer if you
- have never published anything
- have no readers
- didn't write anything this month
- didn't write anything this year
- can't articulate words anymore
- can only float and mournfully wail
- were murdered ten years ago on this very spot

Your personality, your identity, everything you are, is not carved from stone. You are a garden. Plant good seeds.

I have a whole year of writing a 300 word story every day behind me. Today I'm not sure what to do. I want to start new projects but that doesn't have to be right now. Do I re-read the stories? Do I review what I learned about my writing? Or just rest?

I did it! Micro fiction story 365 in 365 days of 2023 is finished.
I made it. I can't wrap my head ahead around it yet.
I'm so happy. And a little bit lost. But so very happy.

The sun rises. You make coffee and lace your boots. You whisper to the pines. They do not respond. It has been hours but the sun is still rising. You curse the pines like a poem. You drive. The road turns to coffee and you sink into your boots. The pines do not whisper. It is time to start again.

I'm astonished that my brain keeps spawning ideas for my flash fiction stories each day. I thought it would be the most daunting part of this challenge.
Off to a new one, I'd say. #amwriting

It would be nice if I started out with more than a vibe and a vague thought every day that I write my little stories this year.
But my creativity does keep up quite nicely and I'm very thankful for that.
So, I'll take today's vague idea and start writing, I guess.

Tonight l'll start writing micro fiction story 262 in my challenge to write one short story a day in 2023. I'm hoping for the flow and ideas.

I'm not sure how to start. Hi, I'm writing Fantasy and try to write a new micro fiction story every day in 2023 since Jan 1st. Each one has one page in my notebook and is written by hand (about 300 words). Things are going well so far and I hope for the best until the end of the year.
