3. Get a spotter. Esp with barbell bench. It’s difficult (and unsafe) to push yourself on bar without someone there to help you do it. Don’t be scared. Ask a buff bro. A good spot won’t lift your bar until you stagnate for long enough and/or the bar begins to drop.

2. Use your chest. Actually use it. Mind-muscle connection is real. Can you bounce your pecs? If not, then you are lacking the connection and you’re not using your chest enough. Try flexing only your pecs until you can start individually controlling them. Sounds silly, but it’ll help your lifts.
