We were in Clackmannanshire the other month for a short holiday. We decided to have a wander down the Devonside trail, and I could not believe how Himylayan Balsam there was.

At least the bees were happy but dear lord.

I was working with this very angry variegated Ilex yesterday. I'm not sure why it had because so densely spiked. Possibly due to over pruning or some kind of environmental factor. If anyone has more insight, I'd be fascinated. I'm still a student and have much to learn.
