In 1958, two pilots flew a Cessna for over 2 months around the desert outside Las Vegas without landing, covering 150,000 miles. They refueled by matching speed with a truck driving down a road. Their record hasn't been broken since.

Helmcken Falls in British Columbia, Canada, ejects so much spray in the air that in winter an enormous ice cone is formed. During colder winters, it can grow to 200 foot (60 m) or taller, with some remnants still visible in June.
