I’ll close this with the acceptance speech I read out when I went up on stage, including minami’s statement too, of course. we had prepared it just in case, not knowing if we’d need it, and I’m so glad we did! I only wish she could have been there to accept it herself!

after all, while this may have been her first manga translation, she has extensive experience translating and editing game text. perhaps the best example of this was her editing for the english version of a3, which she did an incredible job with (see examples!)

annnd that’s it for ANYC this year! it’s been a complete whirlwind and I still have more to say but I want to thank everyone I got to see and hang out with this year! it was a blast and I had the best time. to everyone who congratulated me (and, by extension, minami) in person, thank you so much!! 💕

comparison with JP cover! the colors in ours are actually a bit more vivid/vibrant which almost never happens (usually it’s the other way around because of how we have to convert the colors for US printing). we also did a slight rush schedule to get this out by the time s2 finishes!!!
