Tortuga deli had popup outside of Jinji, so I got a brisket French dip. It was delicious & quite messy. I have a little soup left.
& of course, chocolate (hibiscus bar, pecan turtle, Turkish fig popper & date popper.)

My Spanish botas are starting to fall apart. Rubber wedge heeled, knee high leather, they were an emergency purchase in Avila 13 yrs ago. I’ve worn the hell out of them. My go-to all weather boot. Gonna be hard to find a replacement

Maple just discovered downstairs radiators are hot! Note she has one paw tucked under the pillow against the radiator & one above. She remembers how to regulate.

She does amazing work! I commissioned this piece (with vague prompts of ‘desert,books’ & orig pics & some desert pics & have no artistic composition skills, so that was best I could add.) & I love it even more in person.
(And I can enjoy it until I give to my mom for a very special Xmas present.)

My neighbors hang orange twinkle lights & purple porch bulb on their porch this time of year & they glitter through my bedroom windows. I love it. Pic doesn’t do justice.
