Today in masiphumele we carried on working with One-Button and the Sea and the theme of pulling together after a storm physically and emotionally. Lots of language & discussion as we re - created scenes from the book & our playing at being in a storm #storypower #community #Edusky

It can’t possibly be him as this one is patterned but he must be a very close relative, probably made at the same time from the same pattern. He has had many repairs & stitches & lots of love. And now he’s all scrubbed up clean again & will be coming back to the UK for my granddaughter to love

I immediately took a photo and sent to my mum who said “Pinky Pig “ !!! As soon as I held him I could remember the feel of his overstuffed body and the one tiny patch of fur that I hadn’t rubbed off . It’s so visceral
